Gaza Family

This blog post could be pages and pages of text talking about how much I love and cherish the people in these photos.  Megan is one of my best friends, former roommate/classmate/bunkmate-in-the-tiniest-room-in-all-of-Spain/travelmate/etc etc.  We have countless memories together and I'm so privileged to call her a friend.  Megan is going to be spending some time overseas within the next year and her parents thought it might be nice to have updated photos before she left.  Megan is one of the kindest, most genuine people I have ever known and, although I'll miss her next year, I know she will do BIG things with her time spent across the pond.  Enjoy, everyone!

Cherri & Kris celebrated 34 years of marriage the day after these photos were taken.  It's always encouraging to photograph this kind of love--a true picture of faith-based commitment.  Congrats, again, you two!

Gaza Family,

You rock.  I am so privileged that we were led to each other nine years ago.  Megs, I can't wait for many, many more memories to be made in the future, no matter where you are!  Love you guys!

Until next time!

Simpson Family

A few weeks ago I met with the Simpson family after a VERY long day at a conference and a traffic-filled commute on the way back home.  But let me tell you what: this little boy's smile erased every ounce of stress from that day and I have been so excited to share these photos with you all!

Enjoy!

IMG_5762 1.JPG

Simpson Family,

It was such a pleasure photographing you all.  Thanks for putting up with my lateness as I battled traffic from Indy and for just being such a loving family overall.  It was beautiful to capture the love you have for Eli and for each other and I look forward to more shoots in the future!

Until next time!

Kennedy Jane: Newborn

You know those families where you just think, Wow. They really hit the genetic lottery!?  Well you're about to meet one.  The Burkes are one of those families that owe it to us to continue to have adorable babies and, luckily, Miss Kennedy did not disappoint.  This girl was a whopping 9lbs of adorable-ness with jet black hair and eyes that are sure to be just as blue as those of the rest of her family.  Enjoy, everyone, and keep your fingers crossed for more little ones from this sweet family!

IMG_5608 1.JPG

Of course, I couldn't leave without some pictures of big brother, Eli.  He wasn't a big fan of the camera, but was such a good helper keeping Kennedy's pacifier nearby :).

Burke Family,

Thank you so much for allowing me to again photograph your sweet little family.  It was a pleasure, as always.  Looking forward to watching Kennedy & Eli grow up together!

Until next time!

Molly

Reid Family

The Reids and I met up a few weeks ago to capture their annual family photos and Miss Berkley's one year photos!  This family has a special spot in my heart, you guys.  Their kids are adorable and they're a part of a core group of friends that I photograph who are some of the nicest, most genuine people I've had the pleasure of meeting.  I LOVE this family's love for one another is so evident in these photos!  Enjoy!

Reid Family,

As always, it's such a pleasure to photograph you all.  I have loved watching your little ones grow into such sweet and spunky kiddos.  Looking forward to many more memories captured in the future!

Until next time!

Colin Daniel: Newborn

This sweet boy and his family were a lot of fun to photograph!  Colin's parents had such great ideas to incorporate their love for the Cubs into his photos which made for some really neat and meaningful photographs.  Enjoy, everyone!

The Feltman's adorable pup, Cooper, desperately wanted to be in some photos.  We were happy to oblige! :)

Feltman Family,

Thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your sweet boy's first photos.  I hope you're soaking in every moment of his infancy!

Until next time!

Molly

Eli James: Newborn

Eli's mommy and I have known each other since college and later went on to work together at the hospital.  I was SO excited when I found out she was expecting, as she's already such a fantastic mommy to a sweet 3 year old, Emma.  Eli was one of the best "behaved" babies for this entire session (even through his sister's more defiant moments...;)).  Enjoy, everyone!

Brock, Ashley, Emma, & Eli,

Thank you so much for letting me capture this special time in your lives.  I hope you're enjoying every minute with each other!  Looking forward to more shoots in the future as the kiddos grow up!

Until next time!

Molly

Fiona Ann: Newborn

I met the Lewis family a few weeks ago for their brand new baby girl's first photo session.  Fiona did such a super job and looked so adorable in all the outfits and accessories that her mom picked out for her! Enjoy the cuteness, everyone!

Lewis Family,

Thank you for letting me capture such a important part of your lives.  I can't wait to watch Fiona grow into a wonderful person, just like her parents!

Until next time!

Annie: Class of 2015

Annie, her mother, and I met up on a beautiful day a few weeks ago for her senior session.  Annie was up for anything we did and, I mean, come on...she's gorgeous, so she made it incredibly easy.  Enjoy, everyone!

IMG_2788.JPG

Annie,

You have such a bright future ahead of you and I'm so glad I had the chance to get to know you a little better during your shoot! Enjoy every last one of your days at Burris!

Until next time!

Lee Family

I first met the Lees when I photographed Landry's newborn shoot a few months ago and, oh boy, has he grown into quite the adorable little man!  Miss Harper is such a great big sister and the two of us had our own fun running around the playground together after the shoot.  I enjoy every minute of time spent with this family on their shoots and I attribute most of that to their infectious happiness and love for each other.  Enjoy, everyone!

This next photo puts a huge smile on my face.  Katie and Dustin, you have such a beautiful, sweet little girl.  I hope this photo makes you as happy as it makes me!

Little Landry had long since fallen asleep at this point in the shoot, but I couldn't resist a photo of his sweet little feet and those SHOES!

Lee Family,

Thank you so much again for allowing me to photograph you all once again.  And thank you for being such a great example of what a loving family should look like!

Until next time!

Molly

Vince: Class of 2015

Vince was so much fun to work with a couple of weeks ago.  We had a beautiful sunny day and I loved spending the day outside with both Vince and his mom.  Enjoy, everyone, and hopefully we can all enjoy more sunny days like this one!

While shooting, we ran into one of Vince's closest high school friends who was also getting his senior photos taken!  We had to take advantage of the moment to photograph the two of these guys with their mommas!

IMG_2430 1.JPG

Vince,

Thank you so much for allowing me to capture such an important time in your life.  Congratulations on your scholarship and best of luck in your future--I can't wait to see what you'll do with what life brings your way!

Until next time!

Timmons Family: Mini Session

I always love when the Timmons family contacts me about photos!  Their little guy, Isaiah, is notoriously smiley in front of the camera and is so much fun to be around.  Enjoy their mini session, everyone! And feel free to contact me for more information about minis!

So Isaiah was recently put on steroids for a cold and they made him a little, well, emotional...This was the result of two shots literally within a click...pretty entertaining ;).

Timmons Family,

Thank you so much for allowing me to continue photographing your sweet little family.  I can't wait to see Isaiah grow into an even more incredible little boy!

Until next time!

Molly

Hollis Landry: Newborn

Buckle up and prepare for a long blog post, everyone!  This session was too much fun not to include so many of these photos.

Jessie & Jake are two frequent photo clients of mine.  From their maternity session to multiple sessions for their daughter, Loryn, I have loved being able to capture moments for such a sweet couple.  They welcomed their first son, Hollis Landry, into the world on April 11th and he could not be any cuter!  Jessie asked if we could do his newborn shoot outdoors and I was so happy she offered.  We had a great time and big sister Loryn was such a good sport through it all (with the help of a little Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on my phone...).  Enjoy, everyone!

This black and white is one of my favorites from this session.  Loryn, at 17 months, is already such an incredible big sister.  She was on paci duty every time Hollis even whimpered & loved on him so well!

Jessie & Jake,

Thank you so much for trusting me with such important photos of your beautiful children.  It is always such a great time when we get together and I love your willingness to go with the flow during our sessions.  Enjoy every minute with these two cuties; you are incredibly blessed!

Until next time!

Molly

Delaney: Class of 2015

Delaney and I first met when she started helping out at the clinic where her mom and I work and I was so thrilled when they asked if I would photograph her for her senior portraits!  I learned quickly that Delaney is one of those girls that you meet once and feel like you've known for years.  She's easy going, funny, and just super sweet in general.  We had a great time on a (windy!) day a few weeks ago!  Enjoy, everyone!

IMG_1127 2.JPG

Delaney,

Thanks for making your session so much fun!  I wish you all the best in your VERY bright future at Ball State!

Until next time!

Addison: 8 months

This post is long overdue, but this is a big week for Miss Addison so I thought it fitting to introduce her cuteness to the world!  A few weeks ago, Addison and her parents met me outside on one of the first good weather days of the Spring season.  Addison is a notoriously smiley girl, but it definitely took her a few minutes to warm up to being outdoors.  Once she warmed up, though...those SMILES!  Enjoy, everyone, and please keep this sweet girl in your prayers this week as she undergoes some medical testing!

Kristi & Brandon,

You have such a sweet, beautiful, goofy little girl...the best of both of you!  Can't wait for more photos in the future!

Until next time!

Sydney Diane: Newborn

It's baby season, ya'll!  I can't wait to share this newborn session with you!

Shelby is a fellow speech therapist at the hospital where I work full time, so I got to watch this pregnancy from it's earliest announcement.  Shelby and her husband, Trace, decided not to find out the sex of the baby and, you guys, I FOR SURE knew it was a boy.  Everyone else? They thought it was a girl, but nope..not me! I mean, I would've bet the farm on it.  BUT, it's a good thing I didn't, because on March 19th, out came sweet Sydney Diane!  Our newborn session was so laid back and easy and it was so fun to incorporate some of Trace's firefighter pieces into the shots.  Enjoy!

Shelby & Trace,

You're going to make fantastic parents.  Wishing you every happiness in your beautiful new home with your beautiful daughter.  Soak it all up!

Until next time!

Calvin: 3 months

It was great to see sweet Calvin again after our newborn session 3 months ago!  He has grown into quite the smiley little guy and was so fun to photograph again!

Of course, we had to have Max join in for a few!  He loves his brother and LOVES to photobomb!

Leah & Jon,

Thank you again for letting me photograph your adorable little boy.  I can't wait to see what Mr. Calvin will do for us at 6 months!

Until next time!

Titus Michael: Newborn

I had a GREAT time with the Dieringer Family a couple of weeks ago and loved meeting sweet little Titus!  This little man was such a trooper and although he wasn't quite as sleepy as his normally is, we still got some fantastic shots of him, his parents, and, of course, the world's fluffiest dog, Reese!  Enjoy!

IMG_1057 1.JPG
IMG_1172.JPG

I was mistaken in thinking that Titus was the Dieringer's first baby...I think it's obvious that there are TWO babies in this family :)

Dieringer Family,

Enjoy EVERY minute with your sweet little guy!  I can't wait for more photos in the future as he grows!

Until next time!

Sarah & Tyson: Engagement

About a week ago, Sarah, Tyson, and I braved a VERY cold morning, with two of us battling illness, to capture some snowy engagement photos!  We had a great morning despite the cold and sickness and I love how their love totally shines through in these photos.  Enjoy, everyone!

Our final stop for photos was Butler's campus.  When we got there, I remembered that we hadn't yet photographed these two in their Notre Dame gear! So...sorry Butler! The Fighting Irish invaded campus for a few shots!

Such a cool thing to find foliage that matches the theme colors in your photos!  Thanks, Butler!

Congratulations, you two!  Best of wishes planning a memorable wedding!

Until next time,

Molly

Kanda & Baxter: Engagement

My first session to add to the new blog and I couldn't be more thrilled to share this one with you.  Kanda and Baxter are dear friends of mine who will be celebrating their wedding in December at the Mill Top Banquet & Conference Center.  Together with their [insert adjective for the-most-adorable-two-year-old here] daughter Adleigh, affectionately known as "Punkie," Kanda & Baxter met me at Milltop for their engagement shoot a couple of weeks ago.

I'd like to say this session went smoothly, but we had a VERY scary moment involving Miss Punkie, Kanda's ring, and a three-story high drop consisting of cement, brick, and metal.  Stay tuned.

That face, though, right!?  This girl is one of the smartest, sweetest, most hilarious-just-like-her-mama girls I've met and she's truly a blessing to everyone around her.  I figured her sweet smile was a good starting point for this post.

IMG_9646 1.JPG

Kanda always has the best ideas in mind for cute photos--from lollipops and swim suits to painting pumpkin's on Punkie's--er--backside.  In our discussions about these photos ideas, she mentioned to me how much Punkie loves to wear her engagement ring and that she would love to get a photo of her wearing it.  "Absolutely!" I replied, eager for that adorable face lighting up while donning her mama's bling.  The thoughts of how a two year old + a diamond ring + being on a third story balcony could go terribly wrong did not enter my mind.

IMG_9641 2.JPG

Well by now I'm sure you've figured out what happened next.  Punkie got excited, Punkie turned around, and DOWN.WENT.THE.RING.  The next minute and a half proceeded as follows: Molly and Kanda stop breathing, crane their necks over the balcony railing to see Baxter sprinting down the stairs to find what Kanda accurately described as his "savings account" and Punkie, oblivious to it all, says ever-so-innocently, "Where Daddy going?"  Guys, this was seriously such a terrifying moment.  We had just watched Kanda's beautiful ring bounce off of cement steps and subsequently fly into an unknown location.  You can see Baxter below...searching in the plants.  Sigh.

BUT, alas! He found it!  All diamonds still in place and no obvious damage.  Kanda calmly slipped the ring back on and stated, "Okay, next?" as I stood there wide-eyed with hands shaking.  Phew.

Thankfully, the rest of the session went much more smoothly.  We took a few more with Miss Adleigh and then let Kanda & Baxter enjoy some time to themselves (with me). Enjoy!

Welcome!

Hi there!  Welcome to the new site!  I am SO excited to share this new and updated look with you!  It has been a long time in the making and I love the way everything has turned out.  After getting married last October, it seemed like the perfect time to update everything—including the name!  I want to throw a big thank you out to my sister and brother-in-law who put in SO much time and hard work into this redesign.  Thank you both so much!  It would not have been possible without your creative vision and talents.  Clients: if any of you ever need any design work done, you definitely need to consider contacting my brother-in-law (see more of his work at jasonpasch.com!)

So here we are! It’s 2015 now, marking the sixth year since I picked up my camera and started this whole photography thing.  I’ve come a long way from my first sessions and if you’ve been a client of mine since the beginning, thank you so much for all of your support along the way.  All of you—new clients and old—have brought me to this point and have made me so thankful for the opportunities I have had over the past six years.  I’ve traveled to new places, met so many new people, and had the chance to fine tune my photography and editing skills, as well.  YOU made this possible—by motivating me with words of encouragement, by scheduling further sessions, by referring me to your friends and family.  And for those things I will forever be grateful.

Okay, enough of the sappy stuff.  Have fun exploring the new site and please share with anyone you think may enjoy a peek at my work!  Keep checking back for updated posts with photos and stories from sessions in 2015.  It’s been a great year so far and I can’t wait to see what the remainder has in store.  Oh, and to my current clients:  you should have received a letter in the mail detailing some changes for this year.  Let me know if you did not receive one and I’ll send another out your way!

Until next time!

Molly
