The Eckerles have been with me for years and it has been so fun reuniting with them every fall for their family session! Leo and Nina are growing up SO fast and though I’ve loved every session with them, this one is definitely my favorite to date. After rescheduling due to rain and heavy wind, we had the most PERFECT afternoon for photos with warm temps, sun, and no wind! Enjoy!

Roberts Family

This sweet family of 6 holds a special place in my heart. Little Marleigh and I met when she was just an infant and over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know her and her whole family. Three girls - Kherington, Ellie, and Marleigh, and sweet little brother Cohen - add so much wonderful chaos to their parents’ lives and I hope these photos really showcase their personalities. Lyanna Grace: Newborn

I sincerely LOVE photographing newborns. They’re all adorable and I count it a privilege to have the opportunity to photograph each and every one. That being said, I have to admit that I’m pretty biased to sweet little Lyanna. Born September 22, Lyanna is my newest little NIECE and she couldn’t be more perfect! Erickson Family

A beautiful family, the most PERFECT fall day, and a fun, unique location…sign me up! The Ericksons had me photograph them at the site of their future new home in Zionsville and man oh man did we have some beautiful scenery. I love that these photos can hang in the walls of their new home knowing that just months earlier they were standing on foundation only! Oliver and Theo did such an amazing job and had a blast exploring the new trails in their neighborhood. Hope you can feel the crisp, fall weather in these photos as we move into this chilly Indiana weekend!

Taylor Family

I LOVE when families have ideas for unique session locations and this session was no exception. Mama Kim is a close friend of mine and a family friend of hers has an amazing farm property that we used for their evening session. We had PERFECT weather and 2 year old Griffin had a blast running around with his tractors and waving to all the cows (who were very intimidating, I might add ;)). Enjoy!

Dieringer Family

After fostering 3 boys separately, I have a new respect for parents of boys. Our little guys were/are all wonderful, but man were they active - even as infants! Boys just have that unique energy and curiosity that makes them equal parts amazing and exhausting. So imagine the IMMENSE respect I have for Shannon & Andy who have not just one, but THREE boys - Titus, Wyatt, and Zeke. These boys, though, you guys - they are SO special. I’ve photographed each of them from newborn to present and watching them grow in front of my camera is such a privilege. Each armed with their own personality, these guys make sessions SO much fun and I have to stop myself from playing with them to remember to take the photos ;). I hope these images convey their sweet and spunky personalities! Enjoy!

Ranieri-Kreigh Families

Photographing ALL families is such a privilege, but photographing a family I’ve known literally since birth is something extra special. Claire is my oldest friend and even though we don’t see each other much, we’re always able to pick up where we left off and fall back into our groove when we do :). I remember feeling Emma kick in Claire’s belly and visiting her in the hospital moments after she was born. The fact that she’s almost as tall as I am is not something I want to fully acknowledge yet! :). It was a beautiful evening and so, so good to catch up with this crew. Enjoy!

Rachel: Class of 2021

It’s been a minute since I’ve photographed a high school senior, but Rachel’s session reminded me how much I enjoy these sessions! I start every senior session by telling my clients how different my senior session was at 18 - in a studio, 10+ outfit changes (my poor photographer), and very forced, unnatural faces. Because of this, I work HARD to make my sessions as comfortable and natural as possible and I love nothing more than a good candid shot. Rachel was a pro at posing so naturally and we had the most beautiful evening for her session. Enjoy!

Bastin Pantry with Sort Support

Well, this is a first for the blog! When Lisa reached out to me about a photo session, I assumed it would be for her family - two sweet kiddos that I’ve had the pleasure of photographing many times before! But I was wrong! This time, Lisa needed a photographer for … a pantry! Yes, a pantry. Like the kitchen-kind. You see, Lisa is the professional organizer behind Sort Support, a professional organizer in Indianapolis who transforms custom spaces with stylish and functional ways to keep all the stuff looking nice and less chaotic. Always up for something new (and as a lover of all things organization, even if I’m not totally organized myself ;)), I jumped on board and it was a blast! Lisa’s client, Kelli, is the gorgeous face behind Big Hair and Foodie Fare, a blog highlighting all things food and fashion. Together, Lisa and Kelli created the most beautiful pantry - clean, organized, bright, and an overall happy space! I mean, any pantry with a plant is a-ok in my book.

Bill Leroy: 14 Months

Sweet baby Bill was just a newborn last time I photographed him, but my oh my has he grown into SUCH a handsome little man! He was all smiles from the moment we started until…he bounced forward right on his chin :(. The rest of the session was hit or miss with lots of fun bribes from Mom and Dad and lots of running in circles (literally!) from me, but you’d never know it from these shots!

Watermelon Mini Sessions

One thing is for sure: hot weather + cold, juicy fruit + cute kids is absolutely the recipe for a fun, successful photo shoot. I haven’t done watermelon mini sessions in the past, but you can bet I’ll be doing them in the future (if only so I can eat the leftovers ;)). These kids were all so adorable, so ridiculously compliant, and so willing to get messy - it was a blast! I decided to combine all of them into one blog post so you don’t miss any of the cuteness. This year’s sessions will be hard to beat, but I’m already looking forward to 2021 (if the world still exists, am I right? ;))

When Nicole contacted me about doing birthday photos for her 4 children at an ice cream shop, I knew I was in for a…wait for it…TREAT! ha! How’s that for a pun? :) Anyway, this family has a super special place in my heart and I counted down the days to meeting the whole crew at Alexander’s On the Square - an adorable ice cream shop in downtown Noblesville (and Cicero!). The owner was SO sweet and let us in before opening, proving that their customer service is just as amazing as their ice cream! These kids did an amazing job and totally earned their ice cream treats at the end of our time together :). Enjoy!

The Roberts kiddos have a custom of taking birthday milestone markers with these adorable teddy bears made for them by their aunt. Such a special tradition!

DeLong Family: Maternity

When a girl like Rheagan gets promoted to big sister, you KNOW the photos are going to be so, so sweet! Jenna and Matt are expecting baby girl #2 in August and we had the perfect day to commemorate this pregnancy through photos! I’ve never been pregnant, but I am a BIG proponent of maternity photos; you can’t redo a pregnancy and regardless of how you feel or how you think you look, this is a time in your life that should be celebrated! Emma: 16 months

Sweet Emma and I have known each other for awhile, but this is the first time I’ve gotten to photograph her! We had the perfect morning for photos and I think early morning sessions may be my new favorite! Check out that sunlight on her little curls! Mom had just planned on this being Emma’s session, but a family member convinced her to take a few of the two of them together and I was more than happy to oblige :). Enjoy!

Timmons Family

They’re baaaaack! The Timmons family has been around for over 6 years, when their oldest Isaiah was just a newborn (yes, that makes me feel old!). Over the years, they’ve added Lila and Easton. Lila was all smiles at this session, despite previously needing a solid 15 minutes to warm up to the camera. Now at almost 2, Easton seems to have inherited his sister’s warm up time :). By the end of our session, all were smiling, giggling, and taking over downtown Fortville. Enjoy!

Madilyn Jane: 3 months

It’s not often that a 13lb baby comes in for a newborn session, but, hey, COVID has changed a lot of things , am I right? :). Madilyn was born riiiiight as the world was shutting down so it wasn’t until June that we were able to get her in for her “newborn” session! Even as a 3 month old, she did an amazing job and we captured so many smiles, many thanks in part to big brother James and big sister Vivian!

Thanks for being so patient in getting these done. I’m so glad you were able to make it into the studio and that I had the opportunity to capture Madilyn’s sweet smiles, not unlike those of her siblings! Looking forward to seeing her again in a few months!

I am so thankful to our local plant nursery for allowing me to come in and photograph the Davis family a few weeks ago. As a crazy plant lady myself, I’ve always wanted to do a session like this and the Davis family totally knocked it out of the park. Summers Family

The Summers family has been in front of my camera for over 3 years now and I swear, their sessions get more fun every.single.time. Mama Ashley and I worked together for a bit and it has been such a pleasure getting to know her sweet little family (including pup Randy!). And how amazing are their bright, colorful outfits?! This session also marked sweet Clara’s 1st birthday (just a little late thanks to COVID)!

Sweet Ellie is just the best big sister. She’s a perfect mix of smart, funny, and carefree!

Middle sister Quinn is not only a total beauty, but has such a fun, bold personality. I mean look at those hands on her hips!

And more of baby Clara! She’s totally in love with the family dog (and CCI therapy dog!) Randy, so we had to capture their relationship in front of the camera :)

And I think it’s safe to say that all three girls have Chris 100% wrapped around their little fingers!

Britta Rae: Newborn

Baby girl #2 of 2020 is one I’m extra excited to share. My best friend and former Spain-roommate Megan and her amazing husband are finally home from living abroad for several years and in addition to the excitement of just having them home, they brought a sweet little baby into the world in late March! Sweet Britta is the cutest little nugget and it was such a privilege to photograph her and her adorable little round face! She literally kept one eye open the entire time (thanks photoshop ;) ), but I hope you can all feel the absolute joy in these photos!
