Evie Mae: 1 Year

Miss Evelyn Mae is the sweet daughter of a close friend and coworker. She was such a beautiful surprise and is so incredibly loved! Luckily, the studio opened just in time for Evie’s first birthday! Evie is following in her mama’s footsteps toward super soccer player so we of course had to photograph her in her future pro uniform :). Afterward, we were sure to get her all girlied up AND use some sweet little 1st birthday bloomers that have been passed around the family for years!

Sometimes the cake just “happens” to fall off the tray…therefore making it easier to just pick up the whole darn thing and eat it (and smear it all over the wall) ;).

Ellie Rose: 1 Year

My first session in the new studio and boy did it exceed all my expectations! Ellie’s mama and I used to work together and it was so great to catch up with her and see her family for this session! Ellie is a extra special little girl because she’s a rainbow baby and what better way to celebrate her first year than with a rainbow-themed session and cake smash!?

Miss Ellie warmed up quickly and I’m so glad we got to shoot some shots with this gorgeous headband her mom brought to the session! And seriously, girl, you’re HOLDING UP A #1?!

Big Brother Isaac, when not running around searching for a “ballroom” in the house ;), was more than willing to hop in a few shots solo and with his sister. He is SUCH a great big brother and did a great job making her smile behind the scenes!

Got to love when the whole family is in on the theme!
